Progression
- ×4XP up to level 59
- ×3common drops
- ×3job XP
- 120maximum level of dropped sets
Experience
Permanent multiplier, depending on the character’s level.
| Character level | Combat experience |
|---|---|
| 1 to 59 | ×4 |
| 60 to 119 | ×3 |
| 120 to 189 | ×2 |
| 190 to 200 | ×1 |
- Each character has its own multiplier: a level 30 hero gains ×4 next to a level 150 character at ×2.
- Job experience is multiplied by 3: harvesting, fishing, crafting and forgemagic.
- Unchanged: the XP given to the guild and to the mount, experience scrolls and quest rewards.
Loot
The chances of standard drops are multiplied by 3. Drops defined with a fixed rate, notably some keys and quest rewards, are not affected by this multiplier. Resources drop even more often: their base rate is tripled too. The encyclopedia shows each item’s base rate.
Dropped sets up to level 120
Up to level 120, set pieces drop from monsters: Bouftou, Kwak, Scarafeuille, Blop, Dragon Cochon, Minotoror… The encyclopedia gives the monsters and the rates.
Above level 120, sets are crafted.
From character creation
- Class special spell
- Poisse, Mise en Garde and the others: learned at creation, placed in the bar. The temple still teaches the spell at level 6.
- Bonta and Brâkmar zaaps
- Known at creation. Usable from any zaap of the World of Twelve, not from Incarnam.
- Every job
- All 22 jobs are known at level 1. See Jobs and economy.
Characteristics
- Reset
- A button on the character sheet gives back all the points: free, at any level, out of combat. Points given by scrolls stay acquired.
- Automatic distribution
- The purple “+” next to a characteristic selects it: all your points go there, now and at every level gained. A second click stops the distribution.
- Lock XP
- Your character no longer gains experience in combat.
Spells
- The “-” button of the spell book removes a level from a class spell and gives back the points it had cost. Not in combat.
- The “+” raises a spell without asking for confirmation.
- A spell gained by levelling up goes by itself into the first free slot of your bar.
- Dropping a spell on an occupied slot of the bar swaps the two spells.
Names
A character name can be written with any capital letters you like. A guild name can contain digits and be up to 30 characters long.
Alignment
You join or leave Bonta or Brâkmar with the militias. In the four villages of Pandala, the guards belong to the city that holds the village.
